And meaningful relationship with and experiences of God.

The sad thing is that the Pharma reps are like the mainstream psychiatrist you interviewed. They REALLY BELIEVE their messages. I worked for a pharmaceutical company as a clinical nurse educator for a while about 15 yrs ago. The boots on the ground employees are lovely, but I must admit there’s a small component of human spirit missing and has been replaced. They are data and results driven and the emotional spiritual connection is either missing or dulled.
They really believe the message they carry. Just like the Dr, they are firm in their belief. And desperate not to be wrong. But at the higher echelons - those directing this agenda I believe are definitely dark and it would not surprise me to learn that there are black magic spells involved in the creation of these poisons.
Yes, depression is God's will to enlighten the pregnant woman and allow her to work through her "divine gift" of despair, self-critical often psychotic delusions and suicidiality. Just like chronic pain, cancer, heart attack and lupus are also God's will to have us grapple with the things that matter. Therefore, shun medical care, modern therapies and devilish doctors and realize such "gifts." Like all demagogues, you simplify complex issues- there is more than one approach to the care of an individual. And how is it that you are on a scientific panel assessing medical therapy?
None of your divinely inspired patients have apparently - at least to your knowledge - ended their lives and the lives of their unborn - Oh wait, you just litigate against SSRIs in pregnancy.

Severing connection. And thus why Evil exerts such energy to manipulate and distort our perceptions of and experiences with God. We can have all the intellectual belief possible and if Evil, through our upbringings and/or spiritually abusive religious leaders, distorts our experiences of God and his love, he has gained a foothold. He has not won. But he has diminished our connection with the Divine.
AA emphasizes the importance of a spiritual experience and maintaining daily our connection with the Divine, without which we cannot truly live.
