Add this to your list: Dr. Johanna Olsen-Kennedy takes $9.7 million of taxpayer funded NIH money to do a study on whether puberty blockers improved mental health in gender distressed kids and then after 9 years of collecting info announces that she's not rehearsing the results because the public that funded her research can't be trusted with the results. Then the New York Times catches her and calls her out for lying about the mental health of the kids in the study as she tries to justify withholding her unfavorable results. Will she get away with this? Will other news outlets pick up this story and demand disclosure and an explanation for her lies about the children in the story? Will anyone insist on accountability for the money that was spent and the results we're not allowed to see? We know the Biden administration won't do anything about it (I don't think a Trump administration would either - I'm long past believing either party or politics in general will fix these issues).

I wasn't aware of this. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

This is really a good overview of what's been happening and has to be the general feeling of so many. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. Good is called evil, evil is called good, truth has fallen in the streets. How do we fight so many giants with the money and the crooked politics and power backing them? Stand firm, speak up, seek the others with eyes wide opened, band together and don't compromise. Most of all, pray to the One True God for wisdom, direction, strength, help in the battle, light to expose what's been done in the darkness, and judgement upon those who continue to lie, cheat, skew data , cover up, harm people... This is ultimately a spiritual battle, good vs evil, as it always has been. We must be reading & obeying the Bible and praying, putting on the armor (Ephesians 6) & do what is right. Know God. Trust God. He is a God of love and hope and also a God of Justice. If you know Him and are His, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. I have to remind myself of these things daily. When things seem hopeless, remember to look up.

Based and elegant rant-pilled doc.

If you were in Australia they would call you a 'cooker' (as in meth cooker). Because everyone who is anti-pharma is apparently a meth enjoyer. The logic is so tight!

This speaks to me with every fiber of my being. Consider reproducing in whole or chunks in other media (podcast/video). My kids sadly consume most of their content that way and more need to read this.

You give me encouragement during a long lonely journey. Much obliged. Please keep it up.. on my good days I foresee an American Renaissance. All the best

Well doctor, I guess I have to join you with all of the labels, except I am a black physician who, somehow, missed out on any checks from any pharmaceutical companies, though I had a huge practice in southeast Michigan. I viewed the video of Naomi Wolf. Scary. Will buy and read the book, The Pfizer Papers.

I get your point and I remember someone trying to prescribe me anti-depressants in my 20s; I said, “but my life is depressing; why would I want to medicate myself into being okay about it?” (I was stuck in a job contract I no longer wanted). I think there’s a fair point to be made about the effects of capitalism on psychiatry/pharmaceutical industry and overreadiness to prescribe.

That said, I grew up with someone with schizoaffective disorder. They are medicated into a different person than they would be without the meds…but without those meds, their brain just…takes off, into another realm. There is definitely a place for anti-psychotics, etc.

Also the issue with connecting autism with vaccines is that correlation is not causation; there’s no causal mechanism, nothing has been established. The paper supposedly “establishing” that connection was pulled by the journal because the research couldn’t be replicated because it was garbage quality. Peer review isn’t perfect but there’s a process to knowledge production and actual knowledge of the cause of autism has not yet been established. Knowledge of the efficacy of vaccines has.

Questions are fine, but there are actual answers that can be found in medical journals. To avoid spreading disinformation, it’s important to be informed.

Do you not understand that the medical journals are now so dependent on pharmaceutical companies financially that they have essentially been captured? That’s a rhetorical question. Of course you don’t. You are still talking about “disinformation”.

The mothers of the children harmed and killed by vaccines are the ones who deserve to have their stories heard. Do you understand how many “anti-vaxxers” are simply MOTHERS who, as this piece details, did what they were bullied into believing was “the right thing” and took their babies in for a well baby visit, watched unbothered as their babies were injected, and then went home only to helplessly witness their previously babbling, crawling, perfectly healthy babies slide into a world of no eye contact, no more talking, and physical digression? You sit with one of those moms and let her share her story, show you the before and after photos and videos, and if your heart isn’t cracked open, if your brain isn’t flipped upside down as you realize the truth—well, you’re a lost cause. Captured by Big Pharma just like the medical schools and the medical journals who fund them.

Glad you clarified that your views are grounded in conspiracy theories about all medical journals in collusion with pharmaceutical companies, as though they’re managed from a centralized source and not entirely independent of one another.

Conspiracy theory thrives among those with zero first-hand experience in whatever the subject of the theory is.

You obviously aren’t a mother. Or someone who works with women closely.

I absolutely do not understand how a human can take the side of an industry over the people harmed by that industry. Even if you’re downstream of the industry and your income depends upon the fallacy of “trust the science” (see above article) being upheld. At some point, doesn’t basic human compassion kick in?? To be able to take in the stories and experiences of others??

I worked in a medical school for years during college. I saw the beast from the inside. Even then pharmaceutical reps were bribing doctors and sponsoring grand rounds (free pizza!) to get in the heads of the medical students.

I later became a midwife and caught a baby who then died shortly after being vaccinated. Don’t come at me with the “conspiracy theorist” taunt like I don’t know wtf I’m talking about. I’m 30 years deep into this subject. The conspiracy is very real.

I’m a former researcher who still provides peer review for academic journals. I get how knowledge production works because I am part of the process, and it isn’t a grand conspiracy.

Medical journals are an extension of the marketing arm of the pharmaceutical companies. This is well known and written about- certainly not a conspiracy theory. Scientific journals are for a profit industry propped up by the pharmaceutical companies and medical establishment. According to Dr. John Ioannidis, a Stanford professor and medical researcher as much as 90 percent of the published medical information that doctors rely on is flawed. Some reading:

Ah, yes. It’s the paycheck thing. You might as well have just said, “Look, my income depends on this system being upheld.” But you know what, the fact that you read this piece and took the time to comment, the fact that you are dialoguing with me here in the comments, tells me that there are cracks in your carefully crafted story of how all of this works. When you are a cog in the machine, no matter how small your part may be, there are soul-level consequences to just averting your eyes and shutting down your heart. When that gets to a point that you can’t ignore it anymore, you’re going to have a big ol’ choice to make. I’ve watched many women have to do this—to deconstruct their lives and choose another path. Best of luck.

Small respectful point here please Liya if you don’t mind. While it is true that correlation ALONE is not the same as causation, it is one of four required elements of causation (correlation, sequence in time [that is, causes must occur before their proposed effect], a plausible physical or information-theoretical mechanism for an observed effect to follow from a possible cause, and eliminating the possibility of common and alternative [“special"] causes). I wish you all the best

Please consider reading Vax-Unvax Let the Science Speak by Kennedy and Hooker.

The studies incontrovertibly demonstrate that unvaxxed children are plagued with far and away less autism, less atopy, less asthma, less ADHD, etc. Our gov't agencies refuse to do these studies, which are the only way to determine the truth of who is healthier: vaccinated or unvaccinated children. This book answers that, using the government's own data. "5 Scientific Findings Explain Link Between Vaccines and Autism — Why Do Health Agencies Ignore Them?" outlines the pathways which reveal the mechanisms behind the harms. https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/scientific-findings-explain-link-vaccines-autism-health-agencies-ignore/?utm As Dr. McFillin eloquently explains, more and more parents are, to their everlasting regret, seeing this tragedy unfold in their beloved children right before their eyes. To deny this is to engage in the most revolting form of gaslighting.

Re: agency capture and the corruption of the peer review process, perhaps you are unaware of these two unimpeachable testimonies:

https://fullmeasure.news/news/shows/conflicts-of-interest-02-23-2023

Former editor of the New England Journal of Medicine, Marcia Angell, said, “it is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.” Angell M. Drug Companies & Doctors: A Story of Corruption. The New York Review of Books magazine. http://www.nybooks.com/articles/archives/2009/jan/15/drug-companies-doctorsa-story-of-corruption/

Richard Horton, editor of The Lancet, said that “the case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness. Something has gone fundamentally wrong.” Horton R. Offline: What is medicine’s 5 sigma? [Last accessed August 5, 2015]. www.thelancet.com. Available from: http://www.thelancet.com/pdfs/journals/lancet/PIIS0140-6736%2815%2960696-1.pdf.

So it is up to the growing corps of independent scientists with a conscience and no fealty to the profiteers to do the studies that need to be done.

BTW, Wakefield and his colleagues were fully vindicated. You are way behind in your own fact-checking.

I don’t need “science” to tell me that injecting babies with known toxins and other unknown substances is not good on so many levels. But there is a study ( actually a few ) that have compared the health of vaccinated vs unvaxxed. Guess which group is, by far, the healthiest?? Why wouldn’t you error on the side of caution when it comes to our children? Until you read and comprehend Turtles All The Way Down, you are dismissed as a shill.

You do, actually, need science to establish knowledge. Just “knowing” something by instinct is not the same as carefully controlled testing to establish an outcome.

Thanks for articulating so clearly the scope and impact of this smear campaign. My question, for you, to myself, to everyone who cares, is how can we empower people to become immune to these psychological levers being calculatedly pulled and pushed? Name calling and character assignations are being weaponized as you wrote, to force us back into the crowd. If we acknowledge this and educate ourselves and others about the nature and limits of our innate urge for belonging, more people have a greater chance of becoming immune to being manipulated by threats of social exile. I think it's so important to educate young people about social psychology, media literacy and propaganda techniques to break the spell of these powerful propaganda campaigns.
