Can school counselors be a part of this collective? I stand by all vision and morals of this declaration. I am a counselor by trade that aims to impact from the ground up with accurate, science based, and appropriate ethical mental health standards for all my students and educational guidance.

I believe so too. I am advocating to pave the way for ethical and appropriate changes in mental health needed in education regardless of all the politics. Love your work and what we are doing here. It has changed me professionally and personally! Hoping to take part in the pursuit!

“We acknowledge the harm caused when emotions are inaccurately portrayed as symptoms of underlying brain chemical imbalances.”

This is wonderful, with mental health “alternative” professionals located in one place. I started out in social work and it took years for me to realise it was never about helping people but rather the illusion of help within the medical model. Now, as a holistic Nutritionist who believes in identifying underlying endogenous imbalances that contribute to mental health symptoms, I'm interested in your program. Will it be a landing page for people seeking help?

How do you define "psychotherapy"? There are so many approaches, some evidence-based, and some not. Please don't take a carte blanche approach to this topic as you are doing. In the sake of transparency please be clear about how you define your terms, what is psychotherapy and what isn't psychotherapy. For example there is classical psychoanalysis and there is cognitive behavioral therapy and a whole number of schools of psychotherapy, some which are valid and some which are not. There is even medical psychotherapy whatever that is. And then there is counselling and then there are Tarot cards. You need to be clear about this definition before you go any further.

I didn't see a donation banner. This will be the psychological paradigm of the future, grounded in an approach that considers all aspects of a human being in terms of emotional and mental well-being. Unfortunately, it isn't just drug pushing for psychological issues that is occurring, but pills are pushed for all ills, that don't cure but suppress leading to chronic ill health. Also, school psychologists are diagnosing and recommending psyche drugs for kids who are rambunctious or are pressured by parents. This is a big problem. So many kids are assaulted with these noxious meds. Emotional problems don't occur in a vacuum. They are connected to the environment including relationships to their parents, siblings, and school mates. Is there at least one parent available to plug into their child's needs 24/7. Yes, 24/7 that is what children need, parenting is a full-time job, there are no substitutes or short cuts. Why are we living in a society, where to survive two paychecks are needed? We lose the greatest resource we have due to the rat race imposed on us, the time to love children. I am not talking about feeling love for kids, I am talking about the time needed to ensure the child is properly nourished in an action-based expression of love. Easy divorce, another problem, the acceptance of pornography as normal is another sickness that destroys families and again the children suffer. Lots of things to address. I think what you are doing is amazing. Again, I didn't see the donation button.

Are you calling the upgrade to paid, the donation button for the particular mission you described in your article? Because that is the only banner I saw relating to money.
