There is a sentence in the "suicidality" section of the study that is just maddening in its attempt at downplaying the problems with this drug:

"A higher percentage of escitalopram-treated than placebo-treated patients had suicidal ideation, with the most common ideation in the least severe category (“wish to be dead”)."

Most of the kids had the "least severe" form of suicidality, where they just "wished to be dead?" Are we supposed to be relieved by that? Thats not really making this look any better, Abbvie

I’ve been on Lexapro and it barely helped my mood, but it made me suicidal. That wasn’t very fun. I was thankfully taken off it after I went to a different psychiatrist.
