Powerfully poignant piece, thank you Dr McFillin. I deeply resonate. As a social worker and parent there have been so many decisions that have gone against the status quo or so-called expertise. The former is widely accepted and must be considered in matters of public safety. The former is a modern construction, has been commercialized to prop of an industry, is controversial, and has poor scientifically validity and reliability.
